What a fabric record contains

A fabric row is deliberately narrow. It carries the material name, the cost the source states, and the attribute effects recorded for that material. Nothing else is stored, because every extra field would be a field that needs its own evidence before the row could be published.

The table below appears as soon as one row clears that bar. Its three columns are Name, Cost and Attributes, and the attribute column prints the key and value pairs exactly as they were read from the source rather than normalised into a scoring system this site cannot verify.

No verified fabric records are published yet. Material names, costs and attribute values stay out of the table until a dated source states them, so nothing here is an estimate or a placeholder.

Cost per unit and cost per garment are different fields

A per-unit cost describes one measured amount of a material. A per-garment cost describes how much of that material a specific pattern actually consumes. The two numbers are related but not interchangeable, and a table that showed only one of them would invite the reader to treat a price for one unit as the price of a whole dress.

The cost column here holds the per-unit figure, because that is what a shop or material list usually states. Turning it into a garment price needs a quantity, and a quantity belongs to a pattern, not to a fabric. That is why the pattern reference is kept separate: base cost and material quantity live with the pattern, while the material price lives here. The commission checker is where the two are combined against a budget.

How attributes relate to quality

Attributes are the values a material is recorded as carrying. Community discussion refers to a quality score for finished garments, but no checked source publishes the formula that turns material attribute values into that score. Without the formula, this reference cannot claim that one material raises quality by a stated amount, so no such claim is made.

What can be done today is comparative rather than absolute. If two materials are recorded with different attribute values, and everything else in the outfit is held constant, the difference between the two finished garments is evidence about the direction of the effect even when the size of the effect stays unknown. Directions can be tested; magnitudes have to wait for a source.

Why the table is empty

At the September 28, 2026 check, the sources in scope did not list fabric names together with both a cost and an attribute value. Steam announcements describe features rather than material tables, and the community guides that were read discuss money and achievements without publishing a material list that could be transcribed row by row.

An empty table is the honest outcome of that check. It also means the page carries no wrong numbers, which matters more here than filling space: a cost copied from an unclear frame would be quoted elsewhere within days and would be very hard to correct afterwards.

Working with in-game values today

While the table is empty, the practical route is to read the values in your own session and check them yourself. Write down the material name, the price shown, and any attribute text the interface displays, then enter the ones you trust into the checker alongside the request you are trying to satisfy.

Accessory values can be handled the same way through the accessory reference, which follows the identical publishing rule. When a source does turn up, every candidate row is re-read against it; the source register shows which pages are currently in scope and which are still being searched.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the fabric table empty?

No checked source has stated a fabric name together with a cost or an attribute value. A row is only added when both the name and the number can be traced to a dated source, so the table waits rather than guesses.

What will a fabric row show once one is published?

Three columns: the material name, its cost, and the attribute effects recorded for it. The cost column holds the per-unit figure the source states, and attributes are listed as key and value pairs exactly as they were read.

How do I price a garment without this table?

Open the commission checker and enter the costs you can see in your own game. The checker does the arithmetic on your numbers, so it stays useful while the reference is empty and every input remains yours.

Are community-reported fabric numbers accepted?

Yes, when the report can be reopened and read, and it is labelled community-reported rather than official. A number that exists only inside an unlinked screenshot is treated as unknown and left out of the table.
